Supporters of the LGBTQ+ population understand that there is a disproportionate number of LGBTQ+ people facing severe stressors that lend to higher instances of substance use and suicide, and have been working diligently to ensure providers and counselors within the mental health treatment field are trained in these areas. Dr. William Marsh, SB&H Clinical Director, contributed to a feature sharing services and resources supporting inclusion for people going through transition and/or battling substance addictions.
