Opiate Treatment

Our Opiate Treatment Program facilities provide the following services:

SB&H believes that recovery is possible and that pharmacological management is a vital tool in the recovery effort.  Persons served are asked to fully commit to their own recovery process with the assistance of the program staff members.  It is our belief that a combination of medication management coupled with counseling and community support offers the best hope for achieving ongoing stability in the community.  Methadone and Suboxone services, unlike other substance abuse treatment, are not based on a program of abstinence.  A long-term process is individually paced and may require lifelong participation in the program.  The Co-Occurring Program holds the approach of treating both mental health and substance abuse issues simultaneously, meeting the client where they are at, achieving optimal functioning.

Buprenorphine Fact Sheet (English) Buprenorphine C Fact Sheet (Spanish)

“One of my biggest fears with starting MAT was that I was just going to get hooked on another thing that was going to be pulled from me before I was ready...I am so glad I was wrong. The medication really did help me put my addiction in check while I started getting my footing in a life of sobriety.”
