Cinco de Mayo doesn't have to include alcohol but sometime the media can make you feel like that's all it's about. Here are some alcohol free family fun events that everyone can enjoy Cinco de Mayo weekend and then some.
- Enchanted Island at Encanto Park. Live entertainment, candy filled piñatas for the kids, $7 special priced writsbands and Spiderman will be in attendance. 11-5pm, Saturday and Sunday.
- AZ Broadway Theatre. Featuring "Tarzan," 7701 W. Paradise Lane, Peoria.
- Adobe Mountain Railroad Park. Enjoy public train rides every Sunday from 1-4pm. 22822 N. 43rd Ave., Glendale.
- AZ Science Center. Explore more than 300 hands-on exhibits daily from 10-5pm. 600 E. Washington.
- Musical Instrument Museum. Visitors are given wireless headsets to wear throughout the museum to hear the different musical instruments as they approach each exhibit. 4725 E. Mayo Blvd.
