A grant obtained earlier this year is expected to help local homeless people begin their transition off the streets. The news was announced at last week’s Homeless Task Force meeting. Short-term emergency housing needs are the focus of the $70,000 grant obtained this spring by Southwest Behavioral & Health Services.
