What are you doing this Mother’s Day? If you have not had a chance to make a special plan, we have a list of unique ideas for everyone to participate.

Here are seven unique activities for families to celebrate Mother’s Day:

1.      Have breakfast in bed, as a family, and don’t worry about the mess! This is one breakfast your kids won’t soon forget.

2.      Plan a tent movie! In the living room, put up a tent (or create your own out of sheets and blankets) and watch a movie together from the tent.

3.      Cook a special ingredient dinner, where everyone makes a dish and gets to include a special ingredient for mom.

4.      Make your own “selfie” photo booth at home and take random fun photos all day long. The only rule? Every photo has to be “mom-inspired.”

5.      Pamper yourself and the kids too. As a family, visit a nail salon and get pedicures for everyone, even the boys.

6.      Have a dance party! Hang some streamers and teach your kids how to boogie on the dance floor.

7.      Put on an “all about mom” play together. Assign characters and then practice a skit about all things mom.

Now that you have some unique ideas on how to celebrate Mother’s Day – think of some of your favorite memories of Mother’s Day with your mom and share them with your kids.
