Moms, dads, teens and grandparents reach out to us to share their stories. They want to help. Some families, tragically, have lost their children to drug use. Others face costly treatment and what can be a life-long struggle in recovery. Our shared goal with Arizona families is to open dialogue and engage parents and caregivers to help prevent substance use by our children. We must work together to help our kids grow up healthy and safe.
Hope & Healing
Heroin has made a comeback fueled by the prescription drug epidemic. The featured youth first started using alcohol and marijuana before using prescription medications and then heroin. You'll also hear from DrugFreeAZKids.org ambassador Hannah Morgan, who is Miss Grand Canyon.
